作者简介

QinZhengassumesVice-PresidentoftheSouthernUniversityofScienceandTechnologythroughnationalpublicselection.Hereceivedhismaster'sdegreeandPhDfromXidianUni-versityin1991and1994respectively.Duringthatperiod,heonceservedaschairmanofthegraduateunion.Hefinishedhispost-doctoralresearchinXi'anJiaotongUniversityin1996.HetaughtinXi'anJiaotongUniversityfrom1996to2005,duringwhichheonceservedasDeputyDirectorattheDepartmentofStudentAffairs.Hewaspromotedbybreakingconven-tionstoAssociateProfessorin1996,Professorin1999,andDoctoralSupervisorin2000.HebecameaseniorvisitingscholarattheUniver-sityofSydneyin2002.HeservedasDeanoftheSchoolofInformationManagementandEngineering,ShanghaiUniversityofFinanceandEconomicsbetween2005and2011.InJune2011,hewashiredasVice-PresidentoftheSouthernUniversityofScienceandTechnologythroughnationalpublicselection.Hehastakenchargeofandfinishedmanyacademicproj-ectsatnationallevelaswellasprovincialandministerial-level,haspublishedmorethanonehundredthesesathomeandabroad,andhasfinishedninebooks,includingChineseDreamofEducationandUniversityGoverningDocu-mentsatHomeandAbroad.
