《海浪的原理：介绍量子力学的技巧与应用（英文）》是一部英文科普著作，由国外版权引进而来，中文书名或可译为《海浪的原理：介绍量子力学的技巧与应用》。《海浪的原理：介绍量子力学的技巧与应用（英文）》作者为威廉・帕金森（WilliamParkinson），东南路易斯安那大学教授，他于1977年就读于宾夕法尼亚大学，获得了化学学士学位，后来他先后担任过环境工程师、建筑工人、海洋生物学家，以及高中物理和数学老师。1989年他在佛罗里达大学量子理论项目中获得博士学位。在该领域非常具有成长性的几年中，他有幸与世界上优秀的计算化学专家打交道，他曾在欧登塞大学（现南丹麦大学）和德克萨斯农工大学做博士后，并于1991年加入东南路易斯安那大学。

WilliamParkinson，attendedCaliforniaUniversityofPennsylvania,receivingaBSinchemistryin1977.Thiswasfollowedwithstintsasanenvironmentalengineer,aconstructionworker,marinebiologist,andhighschoolphysicsandmathematicsteacher.HeobtainedhisPhDfromtheUniversityofFlorida\'sQuantumTheoryProjectin1989,wherehehadthegreatfortuneofrubbingelbowswiththeworld\'sleadingexpertsincomputationalchemistryduringsomeofthefield\'smostformativeyears.AfterpostdoctoralpositionsatOdenseUniversity（nowSyddanskUniversitet,theUniversityofSouthernDenmark）andTexasA&M,hejoinedthefacultyofSoutheasternLouisianaUniversityin1991.Hispastimesandpassionsincludeyardwork,biking,volleyball,thebeach,andPittsburghSteelerfootball.
