ChristopherMarleywasborninCovina,California,andgrewupnearSalem,Oregon.At19yearsold,hebeganhistravelswhileservingasamissionaryfortwoyearsintheAtacamaDesertofnorthernChile.Uponhisreturn,hebalancedstudyingdesignatBrighamYoungUniversitywithextendedsabbaticalstoworkbothonandoffcameraforscoresoffashionbrandssuchasDonnaKaran,Gucci,andGiorgioArmani.Overmorethanadecade,hisassignmentstodozensofcountriesinAsia,Europe,Africa,andtheAmericasspawnedapassionatedrivetosharetheunendingvarietyofsurprisingnaturalartifactswithanunsuspectingpublicthroughhisartwork.Inadditiontoinsects,hismediumsofdesignincludefossils,minerals,botanicals,bones,andsealife.Hisworkhasbeenfeaturedinnumerousmagazinesandissoldthroughhundredsofgalleries,stores,andshowroomsintheUnitedStatesandabroad.
