作者简介

ChristopherGosdenresearchedIronAgepotteryproductionandexchangeincentralEuropebeforemovingtotheAustralianNationalUniversityasaVisitingFellowin1984,whenhebeganaseven-yearresearchprojectinPapuaNewGuinea.HeiscurrentlyLecturerinArchaeologyatLaTrobeUniversity,andinvolvedwithaprogrammeofresearchintothematerialcultureoftheNeolithicinTurkmenia.
