ThisisanextensivemonographsurveyingthecareeroftheItaliandesignerknownasthearchitectoffashion.GianfrancoFerre(August15,1944-June17,2007)receivedadegreeinarchitecturein1969atthePolitecnicoUniversityinMilan.Thesestudiessurelycontributedtohispersonaldesignmethodology,onehavinglittleincommonwithtraditionalsystemsinuseatdressateliersandclothingfactories.HewasoneofthegreatsofItalianfashion,aleadingfigureduringthatmagicmomentwhentheMadeinItalyconcept(synonymouswithsupremequality,creativityandstyle)begancapturingimaginationsworldwide.Peoplestilltalkaboutthosedayswithinterestandawe.Thismonographcanrepresentaseriousreflectiononandanaccurateanalysisofthatperioduptillnowlackingmightproveusefulatthistimeofcrisis.
