SergioPaezfirstenteredthe"galaxyfar,faraway"in1999,workingasananimatorforLucasArts’StarWarsStorybookproject.Intheyearsthatfollowed,Sergioaccumulatedaportfoliothatincludeddesignworkandanimationforawidespectrumofformats,includingfeaturefilms,commercials,videogames,televisionseriesanddigitalmedia.Sergio’stalentstookhimtoMadrid,whereheservedasastoryboardartistandanimatorforAnimagicStudios,contributingtotheanimatedfeatureTheThreeWiseMen.Returningstateside,helandedthepositionofLeadStoryboardArtistsforSega/Sammy,developingstorydesignandCGlayoutforgamecinematics.In2005,SergioreturnedtofeaturefilmandTVstorytellingwithapositionasAnimator/StoryboardArtistforMaverixStudios.Fromthere,hemovedtoPixarAnimationStudios,whereheworkedasastoryboardartist.AtLucasfilmSergioprovidedstoryboardsand3DPrevisforStarWars:TheCloneWars.Withastrongfoundationintraditionalanimationandillustrationhehasbuilthiscareeroncontentcreationandstorystructure.In2008SergiolaunchedStoryboardArtLLC,anonlinestorycommunity,withbothacontentcreationandeducationalfocustofurthertechniquesinvisualstorytelling.BybuildingefficientsystemsanddesigningsuccessfultrainingprogramsforartistsCurrentlySergioisworkinginSanFranciscodevelopingnewmediaprojects.
