作者简介

DanielKeyeswasborninBrooklyn,NewYork,andreceivedhisB.A.andM.A.degreesfromBrooklynCollege.Hehasworkedasamerchantseaman,fictioneditor,highschoolteacher,anduniversityprofessor.Theauthorofeightbooks,helivesinBocaRaton,Florida.丹尼尔·凯斯，1929年生于美国纽约。在布鲁克林学院修完心理学之后，曾担任杂志编辑、时装摄影等工作，继而担任高中老师，其间，即开始从事小说创作。1959年首次发表中篇小说《献给阿尔吉侬的花束》初试啼声即荣获“雨果奖”。到了1966年又以长篇化之《献给阿尔吉侬的花束》获得“星云奖”。1980年发表《第五位莎莉》，1981年发表《24个比利》。作品虽然不多，但已纷纷被改编成舞台剧与电影。其中的《24个比利》于1994年拍摄成电影。而《献给阿尔吉侬的花束》则在1969年改编成著名电影《查理》。
