Dr.ZhouZhenisaprofessorofEnglishatNingxiaUniversity.HehasservedasbothDeanoftheSchoolofForeignLanguagesandCulturesandtheExecutiveDirectorofNingxiaUniversity–ShimaneUniversityInternationalJointResearchCentre.HeisalsogeneralsecretaryoftheForeignLanguages’TeachingandResearchAssociationofNingxiaHigherEducationandpeerreviewerforLinguisticsandLiteratureStudies.Hisresearchinterestsarepedagogy,secondlanguageacquisition,researchmethodologyforsocialscienceandlanguageeducationalmanagement.TheauthorreceivedhisPhDinlanguagemanagementjointlyawardedbyNottinghamTrentUniversityandSouthamptonSolentUniversity.Hehaspublishedextensivelyinhisresearchareas.Heistheauthorof25academicarticlesandhaspublishedfourbooks.Hehaschairedandcompleted9researchprojectsfundedbyeitherthenationalorprovincialgovernment.HealsoparticipatedintwointernationalprojectsfromtheUKandFranceforwhichhehascontributedtothecompletedoutcomes.Dr.ZhouZhen’scontributionstoEnglishlanguagelearningandteachinghaveledtoinvitationstoaddressdiverselocal,nationalandinternationalacademicconferences.
