LydiaV.FlasherearnedherbaccalaureatesummacumlaudeandPhiBetaKappafromDukeUniversity,andhermaster'sanddoctorateinclinicalpsychologyfromVanderbiltUniversity.HermentoratVanderbiltwasHansH.Strupp,apioneerinpsychotherapyresearchandshort-termdynamicpsychotherapy.AftercompletingherinternshipattheMontrealChildren'sHospital,aMcGillUniversityteachinghospital,sheworkedasastaffpsychologistinthehospital,specializinginpersonalityassessment,familytherapy,andhealthpsychologyinpediatriconcology.Dr.FlasherhasservedasaprofessoratColoradoStateUniversityandtheUniversityofthePacificandhasmanyyearsofexperienceteachinggraduatestudentsinclinicalandcounselingpsychology.Shehasservedasdirectorofauniversitytrainingclinicfordoctoralstudentsincounselingpsychologyandhasapproximately20yearsofexperiencesupervisingpsychologygraduatestudents,interns,andpostdoctoralfellows.Currently,Dr.FlasherservesasDirectorofthePsychologyTrainingProgramsandasstaffpsychologistattheChildren'sHealthCouncilinPaloAlto,California.Inheradministrativerole,sheisco-directorforanAPA-approved,pre-doctoralpsychologyinternshipconsortiumbetweenStanfordUniversity'sPackardChildren'sHospitalandChildren'sHealthCouncil.Shealsodirectsaclinicalpsychologypostdoctoralfellowshipprogram.Inherdirectclinicalwork,shespecializesinmultidisciplinaryassessments,anxietydisorders,andfamilytherapy.PaulT.Fogle,Ph.D.,CCC-SLPearnedhisBachelorofArtsandhisMastersofArtsatCaliforniaStateUniversity,LongBeach.AfterreceivinghisM.A.,hestartedthefirsthighschoolaphasiaclassinCalifornia,workingwithadolescentswhohadsustainedtraumaticbraininjuries,strokes,andotherneurologicalimpairments.Dr.FoglealsoworkedasatherapistattheUCLAPsychologyAdultStutteringClinicduringthistime.Dr.FogleearnedhisdoctoratefromtheUniversityofIowaandwentontoteachundergraduatecoursesonIntroductiontoSpeech-LanguagePathologyandAudiology,AnatomyandPhysiologyofSpeech,andSpeechScience.AtthegraduatelevelhehastaughtNeurologicalDisordersinAdults,MotorSpeechDisorders,Dysphagia/SwallowingDisorders,Gerontology,VoiceDisorders,CleftPalateandOral-FacialAnomalies,andCounselingSkillsforSpeech-LanguagePathologists.Dr.Foglehasworkedextensivelyinhospitalswhilealsomaintainingayear-roundprivatepracticeforover35years.Hehaspresentedatstate,ASHA,international(IALP),andAsia-PacificSocietyfortheStudyofSpeech-LanguagePathologyandAudiologyconferences.Dr.Foglehasbeeninvolvedwithforensicspeech-languagepathology(courttestifyingasanexpertwitness)forover25yearsandhaspublishedandpresentedonthattopic.Mostrecentlyhehasbeenthespeech-languagepathologistonRotaplast(Rotary)InternationalCleftPalateteamsinVenezuela,Egypt,andIndia.
