AbouttheAuthorsInjaNamhasworkedasChefHorsd'OeuvreintheGardeMangerDepartmentattheWaldorf-Astoria.Herdecorativeworkshavebeenondisplayatdinnersofstate,charityballs,andprivatepartiesattendedbyU.S.presidentsandinternationaldignitaries.Ms.Nam'svegetableflowercreationshavewonFirstPrizesintheircategoryeverytimetheywereenteredattheNewYorkSalonofCulinaryArts.ShealsodemonstratedherskillsattheInternationalHotelandMotelShowinNewYorkCityfrom1981to1991.ArnoSchmidtispresidentofArnoSchmidtEnterprises,ahotelandrestaurantconsultingfirminNewYorkCity.PreviouslyhewasExecutiveChefatTheWaldorf-Astoria,aswellasFoodandBeverageDirectoratBallyParkPlaceCasinoHotelinAtlanticCityandtheNewYorkHelmsleyandPlazaHotelsinNewYorkCity.Mr.SchmidthasservedasChef-CoordinatorattheCulinaryInstituteofAmericaandisaMemberEmeritusoftheInstitute'sBoardofTrustees.Hehaswonmanymedalsatculinarycompetitions,andhewasTeamManageroftheChainedesRotisseursCulinaryTeamattheCulinaryOlympicsin1988.JamesGerardSmith,afreelancephotographer,hasworkedinpublishingandadvertisingforover20years.HespecializesinfoodandlocationphotographyandmaintainsastudiointheHudsonValley.
