AidanFeeneyisSeniorLecturerinPsychologyatDurhamUniversity.HereceivedhisB.A.inPsychologyfromTrinityCollege,Dublinin1992andcompletedhisPh.D.intheCentreforThinkingandLanguageattheUniversityofPlymouth.HewasappointedLecturerintheDepartmentofPsychologyatDurhamUniversityin1998wherehebecameSeniorLecturerin2005.DrFeeney'sresearchhasbeensupportedbyanumberofgrantsfromtheEconomicandSocialResearchCouncil(UK).Hehaspublishedapproximatelytwentyjournalarticles,bookchapters,andpapersonthepsychologyofhypothesistestingandreasoning.HehaspublishedarticlesinThinkingandReasoning,MemoryandCognition,PsychonomicBulletinandReview,BritishJournalofPsychology,QuarterlyJournalofExperimentalPsychology,andAppliedCognitivePsychology.EvanHeitiscurrentlyProfessorofPsychologyandCognitiveScience,andFoundingFaculty,attheUniversityofCalifornia,Merced.Previously,ProfessorHeitwasonthefacultyinthePsychologyDepartmentoftheUniversityofWarwick,UK.HehasundergraduatedegreesinComputerScienceandPsychologyfromtheUniversityofPennsylvaniaandaPh.D.fromStanfordUniversity.Healsocarriedoutpost-doctoralresearchattheUniversityofMichiganandNorthwesternUniversity.ProfessorHeithaspublishedmorethanfiftypapersonthepsychologyofreasoning,memory,andcategorization.HisresearchhasbeenfundedbytheNationalScienceFoundation,theNationalInstitutesofHealth,theEconomicandSocialResearchCouncil(UK),andtheBiotechnologyandBiologicalSciencesResearchCouncil(UK).HeiscurrentlyontheeditorialboardofMemoryandCognitionandtheJournalofExperimentalPsychology:Learning,Memory,andCognition,andisAssociateEditoroftheJournalofMemoryandLanguage.
