SanjayMadhavisalecturerattheUniversityofSouthernCalifornia,whereheteachesseveralcoursesaboutandrelatedtovideogameprogramming.PriortojoiningUSCfulltime,heworkedasaprogrammeratseveralvideogamedevelopers,includingElectronicArts,Neversoft,andPandemicStudios.Althoughhehasexperienceprogrammingawiderangeofsystems,hisprimaryinterestisingameplaymechanics.SomeofhiscreditedgamesincludeMedalofHonor:PacificAssault,TonyHawk’sProject8,LordoftheRings:Conquest,andTheSaboteur.In2008,Sanjaybeganteachingpart-timeatUSCwhilestillworkingfulltimeinthegameindustry.AfterPandemicStudioswasshutteredattheendof2009,hedecidedtorefocushiseffortsonteachingup-and-cominggameprogrammers.Hisflagshipcourseisanundergraduate-levelgameprogrammingcoursethathehastaughtformorethantenconsecutivesemesters.
