UrbanairqualityhasbecomeabigconcerninChina.Tomonitorandimprovetheurbanairquality,Chinesegovernmenthasbeguntomakemanyefforts.Inter-regionalcooperationtocutandimproveairqualityhasbeenrequired.Theobjectiveofthisthesisistostudythevolatil-ityofcityAPlsofChinathrough42samplecities,andtofindaprimeparsimoniousmodelwhichgivesthebestforecast.Then,basedonthefirststageofstudy,thisbookexaminetimevaryingcorrelationsofthecityAPlswiththeregionalandnationallevelssoastochecktheim-pactofshockfromregionandthewholenationtothelocalcities;toexammewhethertheim-pactismainlyfromtheregionorthenation;theexistenceofregionhomogeneityand/orheter-ogeneity.Further,studytheseasonalityofthe42samplecitiesandtheirinfluenceonthedy-namiccorrelationsofthesamplecitieswiththeregionalandnationallevels.Finally,thestudyExaminethedependencestructureofcityAPIanditscorrespondingregional,nationallevel.
