HarrietLambhasbeenExecutiveDirectoroftheFairtradeFoundationsince2001,aftermovingfrombeingtheActingDirectorattheFairtradeLabelingOrganisationsInternational(FLO)inBonn-theglobalumbrellabodyforFairtrade.PriortothatsheledthecampaigningworkoftheWorldDevelopmentMovementandheldarangeofotherroles,includingcampaigningforaminimumwageinBritainwhileattheLowPayUnit.Shehastravelledwidelyinthedevelopingworld,includingspending18monthsinIndiaworkingwithfarmersinruralvillagesandlandlesslabourerco-operatives.AwardedaCBEintheNewYear'sHonoursList2006forhercontributiontoFairtrade.Sheisahighlyexperiencedpublicspeakerandmediaspokespersonandhaswrittenawiderangeofpublicationsondevelopmentissues.
