Dr.Zhao-I-ingkaiisaprofessorofMaterialsScienceandEngineeringatNolthwestemPolytechnicalUniversity（NPU）inXi'an,China.HereceivedhisPhDdegreefromXi'anJiaotongUniversity（XJTU,China）in2005andalsostudiedasapostdoctoralresearchfellowatXJTU,andvisitedNorthwestemUniversity（Evanston,USA）andUniversityofOxford（Oxford,UK）asavisitingscholar.Hisresearchgroupmainlyinvestigatesthesynthesis,structureandpropertyofcarbon-basedmaterialssuchascarbonnanotubes,graphene,expandedgraphite,andtheircomposites&applicationsonsolarcell,lithiumionbattery,electrochemicaldevices,etc.Dr.Zhaohaspublishedmorethan100journalpapersonNanoscale,JournalofPowerSources,Carbon,ScientificReports,AppliedPhysicalLetters,etc.andapplied9Chineseinnovationpatents.Hehasalsoobtainedmorethan25awardsandhonorsincludingthefirstprizeofShaanxiScienceandTechnologyAwardsetc.HisworkshavebeenreportedfourtimesinChinaScienceDailynewspapersforhisoutstandingresearchachievements.
