ArchieGoodwinwasborninKansasCity,Missouri,in1937.In1964,hewenttoworkforWarrenPublishing,wherehebecametheheadscriptwriterandeventuallyrosetothepositionofEditor-in-Chief.Fromthelate1960suntilthelate1980sGoodwinmovedbackandforthbetweenMarvel,DCComics,andWarren,withoccasionalsojournselsewhere.HehelmedthelaunchofEpicIllustratedandwastheEditor-in-ChiefatMarvelfrom1976until1978.HewasinductedintotheEisnerHallofFamein1998.AlWilliamsonwasborninNewYorkCityin1931andraisedinBogota,Colombia.AfterreturningtoNewYork,hestudiedattheCartoonistsandIllustratorsSchool(latertobecometheSchoolofVisualArts),andin1948,atthetenderageofseventeen,embarkedonacareerincomics.Heworkedforseveralpublishers,mostnotablyECComics,thepremierpublisheroftheearly-to-mid-1950s.In1966,WilliamsonrealizedalifelongdreamwhenhewaschosentoillustrateacomicbookversionofAlexRaymond’sFlashGordon.Inthemid-1980shewouldgoontowinnumerousHarveyandEisnerAwards.,,,
